It also makes the phone feel less plastic and gives it a more expensive, high end feel. The phones antennas are no longer hidden inside the phone, allowing Apple to reduce the depth to a tiny 9.3mm. A stylish looking metallic band that run all the way around the phone now performs this task, offering better reception into the bargain as well. A new secondary camera has also been installed on the front of the handset to allow the user to not only take self portraits, but more importantly to conduct the new "FaceTime" video calls.
