The Apple Iphone 4 Includes A Glass Touch Screen

The Apple iPhone 4 provides a glass touch screen manufactured with specialist material

which makes it highly durable and less prone to breaking than its predecessor models. It also now features an LED flash along with the HD 5 megapixel camera and a range of new features offered by the iOS 4 operating system.

The phone has a new Retina display with its 3.5 inch widescreen multi-touch display offering a staggering 326 pixels per inch and 960 by 640 pixel resolution respectively, which offers the most vivid and crystal clear display of any touch screen phone yet. The glass covering is made from aluminosilicate glass which is also used by high-speed trains and helicopter windscreens as it provides 30 times the toughness of plastic producing an ultra-durable and highly scratch resistant display.

The iPhone 4 as with all new models of the phone, comes complete with the latest operating system upgrade, iOS 4. This latest operating system offers some impressive new features including Folders which allows the user to organise apps into individual folders and automatically names them based on category, while still allowing the user to provide their own name.

Additionally, iOS 4 now provides multi-tasking capability on the handset, meaning that the user can now enjoy the Web through the Safari web browser while listening to their music or can be interrupted to an email during and return to the same place. The multi-tasking capabilities are also now offered in third-party apps. This functionality has been made all the more possible with the A4 chip processor and the reduced impact on battery life also.

The handset now also features a front camera for video calling alongside its main camera. The FaceTime app provides the user with a simple one-tap means of making a video call to a contact in perfect picture definition on the stunning display. The main 5 megapixel camera meanwhile, is able to offer not only great image-taking opportunities but also HD video capture and editing with the inclusion of iMovie in the App Store, bringing a much loved Mac desktop application to iPhone users.

The Apple iPhone 4 once again offers brand new capabilities for users with a better camera and a new operating system offering great new software functionality such as multi-tasking. Meanwhile, it still remains a stunning design offering a phone, music and video player, digital photo gallery and all-round pocket computer wrapped into a compact touch screen environment.
