The Apple iPhone 4 has the latest iPhone operating system iOS 4 which includes many

of the handsets most impressive and new features combined with the new design and improved encasing and hardware such as the multi touch display screen and the front and back cameras featured.

The retina display of the 3.5 inch widescreen multi-touch display provides a 960 by 640 pixel resolution at just 326 pixels per inch providing one of the most vivid and colourful touch screen displays available to phone users. This is encased with a stainless steel band for support around the impressive extra stretch glass covering the multi touch technology and the fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating o both the front and back of the device.

The main camera on the back of the iPhone 4 is capable of video recording in HD at up to 30 frames per second and at 720 pixels through the 5 megapixel resolution of the camera itself, which now also insulted an LED flash to provide greater light when taking images or making video clips in poor light conditions. A simple tap allows the user to instantly focus when recording video or taking still images.

The handset also features many new software capabilities including the somewhat awaited ability to multi-task using more than one application at a time including third party apps. As such, it is no possible to use multiple apps, leaving one to go to another and returning the first in exactly the same place, or listen to music downloaded from iTunes while sending emails or browsing the web.

Folders is also a new feature with iOS 4 which allows the user to simply collect their apps together into folders based on similarity, the handset also automatically names the folder based on category, allowing the user to specify their own custom name also.

The iPhone 4 comes with a front VGA camera as well as its main camera, for video calling. The FaceTIme feature puts an icon next to any compatible contacts and with a simple tap starts a video call to that person over Wi-Fi. Compatibility is based on other contacts also having the same handset.

Many other apps can be added by the user to their handset with over 200,000 now available from the infamous App Store featured on the phone, third party apps can offer the same push notifications, provide stability and accessibility to the user and offer lots of features and resources for any user dependent on their needs.

The Apple iPhone 4 is the latest in the series of handsets which have changed mobile phones making them more like pocket computers than ever before. Now with a powerful camera, flash and front VGA camera along with a rich set of new software features, the whole experience just got better and the bar has once again been raised to other manufacturers.
