The new ipod touch sees the iphone 4's great display with face time video and a front
facing camera and is supporting the new ios 4.1 operating system.The new display offers a resolution of 960 x640 pixels which is five time better than the previous version.And with the combination of the front camera and face time app, ipod users can make video calls to other ipod or iphones who have this application on there devices.
Early indications show the ipod's camera is very poor compared to the new iphone 4's. The ipod's camera only catches 960 x 720 pixels while the iphone 4 can capture much higher better quality images.
The new ipod touch is miles ahead of the old version in several areas. The ipod 4 has a 960 x 640 resolution while the older model only has half of that and now has a impressive 1ghz a4 processor while the old ipod only had approximately 600mhz.
The new ipod is a little bit bigger than the older model but Apple have managed to make it slightly lighter and thinner bringing it to half and ounce lighter and 0.28 of an inch thinner.
