The Art of Spirituality

To be spiritual is to have a consciousness of our oneness

, aware of who we really are and the good we are capable of. It is the desire to have a positive effect on the world, touching and impacting the lives of everyone in it. It is understanding that we, as humans, have no right to judge or to condemn; and therefore must love those whom we may not necessarily agree with.

It is having faith that all who live, and have lived, were placed on this earth at a specific time and for a purpose. It is having a direct connection with our God, being able to communicate freely with Him as if He were a close friend. It is being awakened to our inner spirit, and alert to the world around us, knowing as in the natural, so in the spiritual.

Spirituality is the desire to live out a positive calling, in the direction our spirit feels led. We can then begin to turn all forms of negativity into truth and light, to recreate our planet - one that revolves around complete peace and harmony.

How can we become spiritual? We must focus on what truly connects us. Not our differences, but our similarities. When we do, we will begin to notice that these differences are really unimportant. And in seeing this, we can gain true understanding.

With time, understanding will turn into acceptance; acceptance into realization; and realization into change. And with that change comes great spiritual growth, and we will grow together, truly becoming spiritual.
