Automated article submission packages have entered the marketplace over the past few years and really stirred things up. They all essentially work the same way with the goal of generating backlinks through automated article submission software. In this review I well discuss the most recent competitor, which is the Article Demon.

These automated article distribution packages are all desktop tools and not server based, so they all have to be downloaded to your system. These programs also operate by a "spin on submission" basis. This means that when you upload your article to your website and make it available to the various networks, your articles get spun to create unique content, and prevent duplicate content. The main problem I see with these products is that usually spun article are plagued with grammatical and syntax errors when they are generated. In most cases if you use a spinner to create multiple version of your original article, you'll need to spend a few minutes doing some editing to fix these errors. I don't begin to understand how and automated system with a "spin on submission" format can prevent low quality articles from entering the system.

How does the Article Demon work? The first step in the process is to set up your article directory accounts and then configure your email client access. It's best to use an email account set up through your hosting account. The Article Demon automates the rest of the account creation and validation process. This tools eliminates the need to manually set up multiple accounts which its competitors do as well. They've even figured out how to bypass the "captcha" codes.

These automated article distribution packages all require a similar setup process, but imagine how time consuming all these account activations would be if you were doing all manually. So once you have everything set up, the process is pretty straightforward. The one place where the article Demon has its competition beat is in the elegance of the human interface. The screens are very attractive and intuitive and feature rich. The Article Marketing Robot is a great tool, but the interface isn't too interesting.

So once you upload and submit your content, these software packages allow you select which of the thousands of article directories you'd like to submit to and all the various article directories are organized by page rank from PR 6 to PR 0 (zero). This allows you to organize your submission process and potential target only higher PR directories.

Article Demon users also have the ability to publish your content to your own WordPress blogs which makes it easier to setup, configure and manage your own article distribution.

The Article Marketing Robot has a very basic interface. SEO Linkvine is also feature rich. The cost of the Article Demon is a one-time $127 while the Article Marketing Robot is a one-time $97. SEO Linkvine offers these fully automated features but its a monthly membership of $47.
