The Artist Marketing Plan - Get your Work EXPOSED!

As you may or may not know, Marketing Comes in many forms, and more today then ever comes a need for the entrepreneurial artist marketing plan. Sure, marketing has an infinite amount of niche' (area of expertise), but yet it seems to me that the Artists and Performing Artists are consistently overlooking the need for a strong founded marketing plan.

and here's why. Because an artist has worked a skill so profound they may almost gain a sense of entitlement or humility to their art, maybe they feel that people should already know about their work, or they will hide it...or in some cases they have someone talking about it for them (a.k.a representation agents)

But Seriously, I don't care if your an actor, street performer, musician, comedian, fashion designer, or even a soap maker....and you do have a representational agent. I stand Firm by the notion that you NEED an artists marketing plan! It is the number 1 skill that will make the difference between making a few bucks here and there, to living off your art for the rest of your life! My solution? The Artists Marketing Plan!

First off: if your shy about your art, Get over it! You found this article for a reason so be Loud and Proud! You have to come out of your shell... Seriously, Your amazing, we both know it, and internally you think so, so why not profit from it? You deserve it!

Secondly, for the artist who needs to be free, You understand that you need to shout from the rooftops "I'm HERE", but you tend to be a little *cough* shall we say, less organized... You are the artist that NEEDS the Artist Marketing Plan...if just for organizational sakes! You need someone who will help you organize and teach you the skills of a solid daily To Do List that will skyrocket your efforts.

Third for the artist who have representation, learning to market yourself and not depending souly on someone else to build your career is HUGE. I'm not saying get rid of your agent I'm saying don't rely on your agent. You will benefit STRONGLY from a Artist Marketing Plan, and you'll impress your agent too, which will make them want to work harder for you.

Now doesn't that sound amazing? You just went from 'C' Roster to 'A' Roster, all because you took initiative to learn a new skill!!
