The Atari Paddle Controller With 13 Tv Games Is The Thing That We Are Looking At Here
In 1977 the Atari 2600 game console hit the market and I am certain a large number of of you remember this fondly
. This was actually the second gaming system that hit the market, pong being the first video game that you could play on your home TV. In those days the Atari 2600 was the top of the line gaming console and every person wanted one, and just about every person got one. Now people can re-live their past along with the Atari Paddle Controller with 13 TV games, which is something which I actually bought.
If perhaps you were really into the Atari 2600 you already know that this product came with paddles so you could play certain games. Most folks remember the joysticks that came with the Atari, but the paddles were something that you had to purchase separately when the unit first came out. It wasn't until years later when the Atari began being sold with the paddles once you purchased the particular console. Needless to say when folks got the paddles many of the home games that required the paddles found themselves being some of Atari's most popular games.
Simply because these paddle games were so popular is the reason, I believe, Atari made a decision to generate this plug and play paddle game system. It is extremely easy to hook this up to almost any TV together with the RCA input jacks that you will find in virtually any TV nowadays. Of course if you have a TV that's more than ten years old there's the chance that your TV doesn't have these inputs, of course, if that's the case you'll not have the ability to use this new device. Of course there are not many folks that have a TV that's over 10 years old so this will not be a problem for the majority of people.
This gaming console includes, Video Olympics, Pong, Circus Atari and Street racer together with loads of other games. For those of you who do remember the Atari 2600 you already understand that one of the most popular games was Kaboom but it's not incorporated in this system. For me it was a massive mistake that Atari made by excluding this hugely popular game, but the various other games which come with this system are great games. Needless to say you will realize that this new release of the Atari games isn't going to cost anywhere near the $200 the Atari 2600 first sold for.
You can in fact get this product for just $4.92 if you end up buying this system from Amazon. This is in fact more than 50% off of what you would have to spend if you were to pay retail for this product. For individuals who remember just how much you used to love playing the paddle games from the Atari, this is a good way to start playing them again. Or if you have a family member or friends who lived through the 80's you might discover that this may be a terrific gift idea for them.
