Some basics that you need to understand to make it easier are below.
What's in a Name?
Give some serious brain time to your dogs name.
Keep it short and syllabic and not too close to a command.
A name for a dog is also a command for a dog in a lot of ways so bear this in mind.
Time is Fleeting
Most forget how important this obvious tip is.
Schedule for your dog, make him or her part of your daily routine.
You dog needs extra time and space in your life, be prepared to provide it.
You must be consistent with your routine and consistent with your time allotment to your dog.

Exercise is Key
Another key ingredient to successful training is exercise.
An un exercised dog with pent up physical energy will act in a bizarre manner that seems alien.

You will seem some good results fairly quickly, but then your dog might regress a bit.
