*** Do Not Quit Smoking! Click Here *** An epidemic that poses great dangers to the world can rightly be said to be nicotine addiction. While it very dangerous, it can easily be prevented unlike other epidemics. Billions of people, the world over, are addicted to it; while many have tried to quit but failed. I hope to substantiate the facts concerning this addiction whilst showing the ways of how to cope with the effects of a type of smoking cessation. The easiest phase is to make up your mind to quit smoking. But to let go off the cigarette can pose great challenges. It is however understandable that those smokers did light a cigarette or two while waiting in public places, or when stuck in a snarl, after a never-ending flight - just for the sake of reducing tension. The foremost question that comes to mind is: "Does smoking cigarettes reduce or completely remove the stress of everyday life?" Most people are afraid of quitting for a variety of reasons. I will address some of the anxieties common to smokers that are trying hard to quit. Tremendous Weight gain Some smokers think they would gain tremendous weight if they quit smoking. This fear is rational because it has been found among more than seventy percent of people who quit. However, gaining weight is not as a result of quitting. When a cigarette is smoked, the nicotine releases blood sugar into the blood stream. As a result, most smokers skip their meals and look skinny. After quitting, the body would no longer be able to manage lengthy hours of starvation, and many of them might experience hypoglycemia in the first week. This can be prevented by eating heavily; and that is why weight gain occurs. The fear of withdrawal symptoms It is true that withdrawal from smoking is not so comfortable, but the symptoms don't last long. After about a week, they are gone. This happens because smoking has made your body believed it depended on it. After some time, it is only normal, that your body would readjust to this state. Stress from everyday life Once again, smoking has made you deceived your body that you need those cigarettes to deal with the stress of everyday life. Can you recollect when you didn't smoke at all? How did you manage the stress of everyday life? Now that you are smoking, has the level of stress reduced? Undeniably, the stress is still there and has not reduced an inch - even now that you smoke to relieve stress. The only method of quitting is to simply put your heart to it. It might sound simple, but it's the basic truth. A lot of other options can be used to stop smoking, but what really worked for me was the natural means. It actually made me quit faster as it was more effective than normal anti-smoking commodities. As a result, I felt healthier. I can only wish you good luck in your decision and challenges ahead.About the Author:
