The Basics Of Easy Magic

Before starting to learn magic, you must understand that most of the magic tricks have a secret behind it. There is no magician out there that can perform a miracle without a help of a small device. In another word, there is no such thing as a miracle in magic world, otherwise people would prefer to magician as wizard instead. Now, that we have got the magic term out of the way, we can start on some basics concepts of magic.

Sleight of hands

In the magic world, sleight of hands magic tricks usually required intense amount of training before you would be able to perform in front of an audience. Generally speaking, you were required to be fast with your hands or practice well enough that the trick become a second nature to you. Majority of the time, this only applied to card magic tricks where you required to do false shuffle or double flip. If you are beginner to magic, I would not recommend doing any trick that required intense sleight of hands because you would found magic to be boring and give up rather quickly. Even though, it takes practice but at the same time it can be very rewarding. Once you mastered the technique, you can perform it any time anywhere.

Gimmicks

Unlike tricks that required lots of practice, gimmicks are the new generation to the magic performing field. What is a gimmicks? It is a device that help you perform the tricks without having so much practices most of the time. However, you still want to play with your gimmicks as much as possible to get familiar with the device. The pros of gimmicks is that it is a self performing tool which does not depended too much on its performer. Unfortunately, gimmicks tended to be very messy and hard for you to clean up afterward. Any well known magicians always wanted to start clean and end clean. By clean I meant that the spectators are allowed to inspect the magician or touch the performed objects. The ability to let the audience examine a performed object also preferred to as impromptu. Once you mastered the art of impromptu magic, you should be able to feel very confidence to perform at any type of audience.
