Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. CCNA was the first Certification from the Cisco Family.Cisco certified network associate(CCNA) is the starting level program,mainly targeted on basic networking concepts.The concepts learned in this certification are certainly helpful in further cisco certifications like CCNP, CCIE. CCNA exams can be said as crucial because they are the basic for all networking concepts. 10 years back,companies were not understand of the importance of CCNA and its concepts. Path 1:

By taking 640-802 CCNAIt consists two papers

Paper 1:Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) v1.0

Paper 2:Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2) v1.0

This exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills required to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small to medium size enterprise branch network.The details of the exam are given below.

Exam Number: 640-802 CCNA

Associated Certifications: CCNA

Duration: 90 Minutes (45-55 questions)

Available Languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Korean, French, Portuguese

Path 2:In path 2 you have to take two exams given below.

Exam 1: 640-822 ICND1(Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1)

Exam 2: 640-816 ICND2(Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices - Part 2)

The exam details are given below.

Exam Number: 640-822 ICND1

Associated Certifications: CCENT and CCNA

Duration: 90 minutes (40-50 questions)

Available Languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Korean, French, Portuguese

Exam Number: 640-816 ICND2

Associated Certifications: CCNA

Duration: 75 - 90 minutes (40-50 questions)

Available Languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Korean, French, Portuguese
