"Villi" is a term used to describe the hairy feature within the intestines and is responsible for nutrient absorption. If 'villi' is damaged, the body cannot absorb energy from the food anymore and even if that person eats to death, he/she will remain malnourished since the body can no longer get energy from the food he/she eats.

What are the common symptoms of the Celiac disease? Digestive problem is one of the major symptoms. It might be characterized by abdominal bloating, weight loss, pale stool, and gas pain and diarrhea.

Another common symptom is severe rashes in the skin and in other parts of the body. This might also lea to iron deficiency and anemia or low count of blood. Problem with growth and development is also to be considered.

Other minor symptoms include irregular menstrual periods, ulcers, and sensations and numbness of legs as well as tingling of the leg muscles.If there will be too much gluten in the intestine and the body will continuously produce antibodies to fight with it, it will cause the intestinal lining to be thinner and thinner until it eventually leads to more serious illness and intestinal problems.


It is also pointed out that untreated Celiac-Disease-Symptoms , over time, might lead to cancer within the intestines, or other digestive parts. These things are just examples of bigger complication rooted from simple disorder.

We have to arm ourselves with the precautions and other safety reminders to make sure that before we develop the disorder, we have found a solution. The basic cure to this disorder to be keen and vigilant with the food we eat. We have to check whether the food have gluten content or not. If it has one, refrain from eating it. Eat fresh foods instead like vegetables and fruits. These types of foods will lead you towards a healthy life that is gluten-free.
