The Beginning Symptoms Of Early Pregnancy
The beginning symptoms of early pregnancy vary depending on the woman and her circumstances
. Some women can go months without realizing they are pregnant, while others know within weeks of conception. It is important to know the early signs, which come in a variety of symptoms.
The first sign, for a lot of women is a skipped period but there are other symptoms that may occur well before a missed cycle. As the hormonal balances shift, there are a number of changes on a physical as well as an emotional level. Women are prone to experience at least one of the common symptoms.
The classic signs vary but are often used as clear indicators that a baby is soon on the way. The excitement of having a child coupled with the constant changes taking place within a women's body can take its toll. Emotions may be going through a whirlwind of adjustments as the body undertakes the gestation process. It is always good to know what to expect.
Becoming pregnant is obviously a big deal and every woman takes to the experience differently. It is not uncommon for the same mother to go through different symptoms for different pregnancies. A very common result of early gestation is fatigue. The body is working over time to produce a new life therefore sapping the energy out of the expectant mom. Rising hormone levels and an increase in blood supply are both contributors to an increased need for sleep. But this is no cause for alarm. It's actual best for the new mom to get as much rest as she can. Proper sleep reduces stress.
Other common clues involve tenderness in the area of the breasts. A feeling of heaviness and soreness is the result of the hormonal shifts taking place within the body. It passes as the woman's term matures. Woman may also experience faintness. This may either be hormonal or the result of low blood sugar.
The other early signs of an approaching motherhood are food sensitivities. Even the smell of certain foods may cause a woman to become ill. Women have also been known to have strange cravings, such as the standby ice cream and pickle yearnings. Not every woman experiences cravings or food aversions but is it a very common first sign.
Some women ease through their pregnancies without any issues. But it is important to realize not all first signs indicate a woman is pregnant. A more serious issue may be at hand, and it is always best to see your doctor when experiencing unusual physical changes.
The minute you think that you are pregnant, either schedule a pregnancy test at your doctor's office, or take the more expedient option and take a home test. The earlier you do this, the better. A proper diet, prenatal care needs and frequent doctor office visits will all help achieve a safe nine months and ultimately a healthy baby.
