No one will argue when you say that the Grand Canyon is one of the most stunning scenes in the world. The air tours from Vegas only fly to the West Rim, 45 minutes away. While the views outside the helicopter window are the highlight of your trip, you also have the option of adding on side excursions such as a boat ride down the Colorado River, a walk across the Skywalk, or a picnic with champagne.
If you want to see the North Rim, go for the South Rim trip which takes about a half hour to complete. If you want to see some of the key sights on the eastern park boundary, you can take the fifty-minute tour that takes you past Desert Watchtower, Zuni Corridor and more.
Different Grand Canyon helicopters will come with different price tags, but those with money to spend go for the best of the best, which is the EcoStar 130. These are fairly large, and provide more space than their more conventional brothers and sisters. These planes also offer theater seats, so everyone gets a great view no matter where they are seated.
