Affiliate marketers work hard to make sales, and as soon as they make those sales

This model is profitable and scalable to an extent, but it requires extra effort and investments to constantly find new prospects to market to. Affiliate marketers should consider putting up squeeze pages as part of their affiliate marketing campaigns in order to capture leads who are ready to buy or will eventually buy.

No matter what market you are in, building a list will seriously grow your business. Instead of fighting hard with competitors for a sale, you should differentiate yourself by not coming off as a salesperson. By putting up a squeeze page, your only goal is to capture the name and email of a prospect by offering them some value as an incentive for opting in. If you provide good value on the front end, then the relationship between you and your new subscriber will hopefully start off on the right foot.

In your follow-up emails, you'll want to touch base with your subscribers to check on them and see if they liked the stuff which you gave them in return for their information. If you don't stay in touch with them regularly, then they will forget about you and a lot of the hard work that you put into building a relationship with them will be lost. It is important to stay on topic in your follow-up emails. If you sell weight loss products to your marketing list, you may be a little response because everybody would like to shed a few pounds, but you have to keep in mind that the majority of your subscribers will not be responsive to such a promotion.

When creating your follow-up sequence in your autoresponder, you'll want to remember what your subscribers got by opting in. Another thing that you should keep in mind is what your subscriber was thinking and what their desires were when opting in. If you have a squeeze page in the weight loss niche for example, what problems do you think your subscribers have that they want you to solve? What goals for losing weight do they have which you could help with?

Not putting up a squeeze page when you're doing affiliate marketing is doing yourself a disservice. Traditional affiliate marketing is really a short term solution to making some quick sales. By capturing leads in your desired market, you are creating a long term business for yourself. You don't even need to know or love the market that you are entering. All you need to know is how to build a strong relationship with your list and all you need to love is to help your subscribers and to make money from doing so. The more your list members trust and like you, the more likely that they'll buy something from you. Traditional affiliate marketing usually does not allow you to build a relationship with your prospect which is why setting up a squeeze page and building your list is so important.
