The Best Affiliate Marketing Program

I had heard aboutthe numerous stories about people getting involved with affiliate marketing, and in a matter of weeks, generating enough income so that they could quit their regular jobs. Naturally, I was skeptical: there never seems to be an end to the "get rich quick schemes" that people take advantage of one another with. But, after having continuous problems with my small business in Southwest Florida (hello, oilspill and the recession!), I decided to give it a try. Why not try to make some money on the side?

After some research, I decided to go with "Wealthy Affiliate". My reasoning was simple...they seemed to have plenty of resources available to learn from, and most notably, the didn't promise me the world. I automatically discount advertisements for products or services that sound too good to be true, because they always are. When I joined WA, I didn't realize the massive amounts of information that would be available to me, and I realized that the time-release manner of the training material was very necessary, because of the real possibility of information overload.

Week one: Pouring through the training material, but it's not clicking for me yet. I'm getting used to the Keyword Research Tool, which is very important for generating those all-important phrases. I find myself jotting down different ideas constantly. I have found the forum to be an invaluable resource, because just about any question that I have about WA can be answered. Everyone seems to be friendly and courteous.

Week two: Things are starting to come together for me now: even though I'm still going through the training modules, I have started a few campaigns. I have always been the kind of guy that enjoys learning on the job. I have continued to be impressed with WA. They make it look easy, but impress this important point to their members...it's hard work, but by following the guidelines, success will come.
