Another classic debut album is Appetite For Destruction from Guns n Roses. These notorious rockers came crashing into the heavy metal scene and also into the mainstream with Axel Roses huge voice and Slashs epic guitar solos. Probably the best heavy metal album ever made.

American Slang by the Gaslight Anthem. The Gaslight Anthem are a sadly overlooked band in the popular music scene but they have a dedicated army of followers everywhere they go. Their last album American Slang is considered by most to be their best with their lead singer Brian Fallon showing that he has all of the necessary talents to be the voice of his generation and rival the skills of his hero Bruce Springsteen.

Whatever People Say I Am, Thats What Im Not by The Arctic Monkeys. This debut album from the young Sheffield band shows incredible lyrical maturity and wit from frontman Alex Turner along with amazing playing from such young men. Songs such as I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, When The Sun Goes Down and Mardy Bum are guaranteed party starters.
