That four for the price of one, so to speak. Sure, you could walk, but why would you? San Francisco's public transport is second only to New York's in terms of scale, convenience, and affordability.

Nestled in the bosom of downtown is the lovely jewel, Union Square. Think of Union Square as the Times Square of the city -- except more shopping. It's like a massive outdoor mall, complete with fountains, glass and lots and lots of espresso. A few blocks away will put you at the doorstep of the Moscone Centre and the world-famous SF Museum of Modern Art. Art, shopping, and all the history and great food you can shake a stick at!
