With its gleaming graphics and great array of planes and locations to choose from, it is no surprise that Microsoft has created a great game for flight simulation players.
Another leader in the simulation industry is Ubisoft with their IL-2 Sturmovik series. It is a great World War II combat simulator with not only great graphics but with action as well. The greatest thrill about the game is the amount of dog fights and combat that the player will be thrown into.
The next simulator created by Ubisoft goes back to basics with flight simulation, but with the problem of only a few planes in the game. Though there is a problem of very few planes the creators of X-Plane have given more space and air to take flight with. Yet another great game in the Ubisoft series.
X-Plane was created by Atari and was a great transition for the game team into the simulation gaming environment. They have taken it to a new level not only allowing the player to take on the normal sight of flight simulators but are now able to take their simulation to the deep space. Along with new space travels they have still been able to incorporate a great deal of graphics making the game just that much better.
There are many flight simulator games for windows and they all have their own taste and added realism. It is great to see how companies can create games that will truly help players to see a dream of flying.
