Some people have shown massive improvement with medication and can fully function in everyday life
. Panic attack medication should at least be taken for a minimum of one year before even thinking of coming off of it. You and your doctor can sit and discuss the options that you have and to see if you are ready to be without it. Don't worry though if you are pulled off it and see that you are not ready to be on your own the doctor can always put you right back on it and keep you on it for a few more months or longer depending on your condition. You also may want to try a therapy such as behavioral therapy; if you can change your thought process then maybe you will be able to come off the medications and live a normal happy healthy life.
