, there is one thing to keep in mind; they need to be fresh. By fresh, I mean that the leads should be no more than 3 to 4 days old; 5 days at the most. This is because past that time period, people do not recall filling in those lead capture forms. If they forget asking for the information, they sure aren't going to want to buy the product or service.
Another aspect of leads is what I call their "specificity". You have probably heard of targeted leads and that is what my coined term refers to. The best network marketing leads are those that are specifically looking for the product or service that you are offering. If someone is after information on dog training and they are offered an airline ticket discount, they will probably just delete your message and possibly black list you for good.
Then there is the age old question of free leads versus leads that are purchased outright. This is where the targeting and fresh qualities are best illustrated. For example, you download a pack of 500 free leads. Out of the 500 messages you send, 75% of them don't even bother top respond and 10% of the rest send back nasty grams back to you asking how you got their info.
These are most likely old leads that are over 30 or 60 days old. These folks have had their info sold over and over again, so now they are a bit testy. They have probably been offered everything from free reports to a free cup of coffee. They are tired of being assaulted with offers for items or services in which they have no interest whatsoever.
Now say you pay for a pack of 500 leads and add them to your autoresponder. You told the seller what your market niche is and they supplied leads to you in that specific market niche. Now you are getting a response. People are responding to your offers fairly well and you have probably made a few conversions.
I have always liked that adage "you get what you pay for". The example above exemplifies that very well. Maybe a bit dramatic and extreme, but the message is clear. There is another adage that applies here as well; "you have to spend money to make money". That is true, no matter WHAT your market is all about.
The other way to get the best network marketing leads is to get them yourself. Set up your own lead capture forms and squeeze pages. In this way, the people that ask for the information have already been to your site and know exactly what they are asking about. No surprises and no shocks down the line.
When it comes to getting the best network marketing leads for your business, it all depends on your business. Grab the folks that are most interested in your product/service, then market to them. They are already pre-sold on you and your company or they would not have requested the info in the first place, right?
Leads are the lifeblood of any online business. They represent walk-in customers at a brick and mortar store. Offer what they are after and they will keep coming back; hopefully bringing their friends with them.
