Recessed lights can be placed in anywhere there is flat surface thick enough to hold the light brackets

LED ceiling lights are best placed in the stairways; walk in closets, and even under the kitchen cabinets. For the bedroom closets and wardrobes, assent technique is quite convenient, to ease in the collection and storing of articles.

Halogen type or LED type lights are ideal for usage where assenting is required. Flower beds, indoor aquariums, statues or portraits can all be made more prominent with the small flexible frame lights.

Home entrance doorways, require more light. Also from the point of view of security and quick identity, brighter 6 inch diameter lights can fulfill the purpose. In case of any unnecessary intrusion, everybody would try to switch off or damage the light, but because of its assembly and height, it is relatively not so convenient because time constraints are there. Just inside the main entrance door, a light is placed facing at an angle towards the door, this would prove to be most suitable. When the door is opened, the glare falling outside would hinder from having a clear view of inside. Then 4 feet from this, a 4 inch diameter light should be fixed. The smaller diameter would create more difficulty in an attempt to break it. Or an alternative is the placing of halogens in a group of 4 to 5 on both the sides of the corridor ceiling.

Lights simply does not provide us illumination, they also aid in our security.
