A project folder will eliminate this problem.

Exactly what is a project folder and why should you use one?

A project folder is simply a folder to house all the files for your website. It keeps the files in one location so you will not have to look for them in different areas on your computer.

Having all of your website files in one central location makes it much easier when it comes time to publish your website.

Personally, I save all of my website files on an external hard drive but I know that not everyone has an external hard drive.

The mydomain.com folder is where you will place of all the files for that website and that site only. Every file for that particular site will go into this folder.

For example, you would place the index file, the images folder, your thank you and download page, videos, e-books and any other files needed for that website.

Everything is in one location and it will be so much easier when it comes time to publish your website.

For each website, create a project folder and you will find that this is the best way to keep your website files together.

Make it easy on yourself and do this before you begin to work on your site and things will go so much smoother for you when it comes time to upload. For a visual demonstration please visit here at
