The Blackberry Bold 9780 has a 5 megapixel camera for video recording and photo shots, along with integrated GPS and preloaded applications with maps, points of interest and more. The handset features both a QWERTY keyboard with an optical trackpad for easy navigation and fast text input.

The handset comes with 512 megabytes of read-only memory alongside an internal storage memory of 2 gigabytes, with support for more through the microSD card slot featured. The impressive avail memory is able to effectively power the new and latest Blackberry 6 operating system installed which offers faster then ever switching between the applications you most use. Meanwhile, the rechargeable lithium-ion battery is able to provide up to 6 hours talk time, 22 days standby and up to 36 hours music playback.

The Bold 9780 features an optical trackpad similar to that of a laptop computer mouse, which allows seamless scrolling and navigation, along with a full QWERTY keyboard for text input.
