The Blackberry Torch features a touch screen, full Qwerty keyboard and optical trackpad for easy navigation and data input through the user interface

. The handset provides great messaging, connectivity and other features along with a 5 megapixel camera.

The handset has both Wi-Fi and 3G network support for a fast internet connection allowing you to utilize the email client which can be configured for any email accounts and the text and multimedia messaging featured. There is also instant messaging, as well as Blackberry Messenger for exclusive messaging to other Blackberry using contacts. You can stay up to date with friends through social networks such as Facebook and Twitter too, with the social feeds provided.

Connectivity available includes Bluetooth 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate along with the profiles for handsfree, headset for audio playback and stereo audio and other file sharing features. Meanwhile, there is also a 3.5mm stereo headset connection. The handset features 512 megabytes of flash memory along with 512 megabytes of SDRAM memory for efficient and fast memory access when using multiple applications. Storage memory is provided with 4 gigabytes eMMC and a further 4 gigabytes media card included, while a microSD card slot provides up to 32 gigabytes of further expandable memory.

The Blackberry Torch is an impressive design encompassing the use of an optical trackpad and full slide out Qwerty keyboard alongside also providing a full touch screen user interface with onscreen keyboards, along with an accelerometer to switch between landscape and portrait view.
