Born in a workers family in 1963, Christian Louboutin started his outstanding career from his special childhood experience. Once he passed by the Oceanic Art Museum in Paris and saw a striking picturea pair of high-heels was cut by two heavy lineswhich warned women to well treat the wooden floor. He was fascinated by the high-heels as if he found out in the first time that shoes can be so beautiful.

Paris at that time was in a period of recovery, a society flowing with liquor and luxury. Christian Louboutin could not resist the temptation of the colorful world and went frequently to the most famous nightclub the Palace in Paris, though he was still 14 years old. From the club, he became to know that what was fashion and gradually showed his interested in stage performance and dancing girls. He gave up his study and worked in the nightclub while seeking for development in designation of shoes.

At the age of 16, Christian Louboutin made his first pair of dancing shoes, he promoted it everywhere but those dancing girls did not trust him. After getting rejected everywhere, he realized that he should have professional training experience. Thus, in 1981 he became an apprentice in Follies Bergeres and later learnt shoe-making crafts in a systemic manner in Charles Jourdan, a famous luxury brand at that time. With talent, idea and confidence, Christian Louboutin soon came to forefront in the field; however, at that time he did not have the idea to build up a brand of his own. Instead he worked for Chanel, YSL as a freelance.
