The Brilliant Nokia C7 Boasting Superb Media Features

Following on from the great success of the popular high end smartphone the N8

, Nokia have unveiled the C7, a similar ableit more scaled down device which is the perfect introduction to the smartphone world for newcomers.

Upon looking at the construction of the phone, it is obvious to see where Nokia have cut some corners in making this phone more mid range than top end. Gone are the metallic touches that are present on the N8, the C7 sporting much more plastic. This is not necessarily a bad thing, the phone is extremely comfortable in the hand thanks to its neatly curved design, and its overall depth is slim and weight is very slight at 130 grammes. The phones 3.5" display does not totally dominate the fascia of the handset, there is space above the screen for the front facing camera, and below there are three keys in the form of Call, End and home, which all illuminate in differing colours when the phone is in use. The usual array of connections can be found on the top edge of the phone, with the 3.5 stereo jack again very welcomed thanks to the versatility it offers with regards to headphone useage. A micro USB also allows for easy synchronisation to your home computer. There is a dedicated camera shortcut key located on the right hand side of the phone, complete with volume keys that double up as zoom controls.

The Nokia C7 offers a great range of connectivity options. We have already covered the local options but with regards to internet connectivity, the facilities are equally as impressive. The handset supports 3G, giving the user the fastest possible transfer of data whilst on the go. This allows facilities such as push notifications to be put to good use, as well as making the phone not only a great messaging device, but also perfect for social networking fans. The phone also supports Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. In simple terms this is WiFi, meaning the phone can connect to personal networks in order to achieve the fastest possible online experience. The latest 3.0 version of Bluetooth is included. This offers a faster transfer than on revious versions, provided that the product you are connected to is also of the 3.0 standard. Media wise the C7 offers plenty of of storage in the from of 8GB of internal memory. This is a backed up by the prescence of a microSD card slot which offers potential memory expansion of up to 32GB.

The Nokia C7 looks destined to prove a popular model for both seasoned smartphone users, as well as winning over many feature phone fans thanks to a great price point, a stylish look and a packed list of features.
