HTC have strengthened their current range of mobile handsets with two exciting new models that look destined to be a success with consumers

. The Titan and the Sensation XE are both premium smartphones that run on the Windows 7.5 OS and Android respectively. Here we compare the processing power and the camera features offered by the two models and see where your money would be more wisely spent.

Both of these models boast a huge amount of power making them two of the quickest phones available. The Sensation XE uses a dual core 1.5Ghz processor which is one of the fastest chips currently available. The model also sports an Adreno 220 graphics processing unit to help the model really impress when it comes to gaming facilities. The phone offers users 768MB of RAM memory which is a respectable amount although lower than what can be found on some of its rival models. Despite being impressive in this area the HTC Titan cannot match the overall prowess boasted by the Sensation XE. The model uses a 1.5Ghz processor but only a single core chip meaning that multi tasking features will not operate at such a great speed. The GPU that the phone uses is another Adreno chip but in this instance it is the 205 model which does not offer the power of the Sensations variety. 512MB of RAM completes the handsets line up. There is no doubt that both of these models are well equipped but ultimately the Sensation XE is more future proof with its larger RAM capacity and the dual cores that it offers result in a more satisfying user experience.

If you would prefer to capture video footage rather than still images then the camera supports 1080P capture which is the highest standard currently available on any device. The HTC Titan matches the Sensation XE for still photographs but it offers a lower quality video capture of 720P resolution.

The HTC Sensation XE and the HTC Titan are both very impressive handsets. Ultimately the Sensation XE proves the more capable handset, boasting a more powerful chipset and video recording facilities that rival some of the very best that are currently available.
