On the other hand, higher level of blood sugar can result in fatigue and a long-term damage of the organs.

No particular cause behind diabetes type 1 has been discovered. The evidences so far indicate that it can be induced by a combination of the patient's genetic susceptibility, as well as exposure to any driving antigen. Researchers have also suggested several risk factors that can add to the problem.

Genetics play a huge role in diabetes. A host of genes contribute to this problem. It is found that wheat has a particular connection with the development of diabetes mellitus type 1. Some drugs and chemicals can also adversely affect the sugar levels. However, an individual must seek immediate medical attention when he suffers from the common diabetic symptoms.
