Article marketing is one of the best ways to build good and high quality back links to your main website, as well as to articles hosted on writing platforms such as Hubpages, Squidoo or Triond.

Article marketing is a challenging way to generate more traffic to your website, as the work that is involved can be overwhelming, especially if words do not come easy for you. Here are some of the challenges that you may face:

Rewriting Content

Article marketing does not require you to come up with new information, but rather you simply break your main content down into smaller articles so that the reader will click on your link to visit the main article for more information.

But how many different ways can you rewrite the same content? How many different titles can you choose, and how many different synonyms can you use so that each article will be unique in the search engines. This is very tough in the beginning, but after a hundred articles or so, this becomes a lot easier. Not only does your typing improve, but your words begin to flow a lot smoother as well.

Submitting the Content

It may take you about 30 minutes to write an article, but now it will take you just as long to submit it to directories, as you have to choose your keywords. You should also try to use slightly different keywords for each submission so that they do not compete against each other in the search engines.

On top of that you will have to change your signature link so that it points to your main site, as well as the article that is associated with your keyword.

Regular Submissions

As with anything else, in order to make the most out of article marketing you should get in the habit of writing and submitting on a regular basis. This is probably one of the biggest challenges out there, but the end results are great when you submit articles every day.

This is a lot of work, but making money online is not easy. However, there are tools that will help you with your article marketing. There are tools that will re-write your content using different synonyms, and they will even submit your articles to article directories with the click of a button to make this fast and easy for you.

However, I do not recommend that you use these tools, as some of the articles that come out do not read well, thus you are still required to proof read your articles and edit them as necessary. Therefore if you are a writer, then re-writing them may be just as easy.
