The Challenges Of Working In A Crane Rental Company

My best friend who is a project engineer has been working at construction sites ever

since he graduated from his engineering course at our local college. Even if he is an engineer, he does not hesitate to get down and dirty for according to him that is what engineers are supposed to do. High profile engineering companies have long been trying to lure him away from the site to work in an office located several floors above however he has turned down all the offers.

He would much rather prefer to be with the men and working with them if needed than be cooped up in an office in front of a computer with a bunch of papers to review.

Now, he is freelancing for a crane rental company working on projects here and there. He is usually all around the place now that there is a construction boom in town. He said that he is really enjoying his stint in the crane rental company because he gets to work with different kinds of projects depending on the clients that they get. He loves that challenges that they face whenever they are contacted by a client looking for a company that does crane rental.

Each day is a New Day

Since the crane rental company that he is working for offers several services, he gets to handle different projects depending on the need of the client. However according to him, the most challenging of all the projects that he has handled ever since working for this crane rental company are the recovery and salvage operations that they have done. It is here that your ability to concentrate and work under pressure is tested. Another challenge to his ability is when he handles Hi-Rail Crane service. Here they get to repair tracks and fix derailment incidents.

Other projects that he has handled for the crane rental company are the usual crane rentals. Since he has done lots of projects like these, he sees it as an easy day at work whenever he is assigned to a project like this.

He can also be considered a marketing manager for the crane rental company because he has high regard for it. According to him, you would really be able to save a significant amount of money by renting a crane instead of purchase one. You would not be burdened in the end of how to dispose of the heavy equipment because there is nothing to dispose of anyway. Another thing that he stresses is that you are assured of the safety and quality of work that the crane rental company has. The equipment is operated only by qualified people who have been trained to handle it. Safety is the utmost concern because it is there that they are able to get more new clients.

It seems like working in a crane rental company is exciting when I listen to the stories that my friend shares. However, it would be next to impossible for me to do that because I belong to a different field. Maybe in my dreams it could become a possibility.
