We all know what a checkerboard is. To start take the imaginary board you have and fill each space with thedresses you have and the ones from your collection you love the most. After your board is filled with as many spaces as you care to fill, chose the 20 percent of thosedresses that are the favorites and place them in sequence from most important to least. Now take the most important or first on the list and ask yourself what is the most effective 20 percent (two in ten) aspect of all the dresses you own. Understand the ones you have loved the most and recognize them. Expand the opportunity tobuy only that kind of dress as you now recognize what it is. The law of the significant few or the 2080 ruleis applied to every one of the dresses you have.

This may seem obvious to many people but some things are not. You now understand the qualities of the favorites. It may be the designer label, or whatever it was that makes that dress special and now you know that quality.

When you can go to the store now and understand what you like best, there will be no mistake. You will not buy one of the eight dresses you hate but the one you love. If you pay more and most times you may, you will know you will not spend the money on the eight you don't like or even hateso you can spend the money on the one you love. It is that simple. You wear the things you love eighty percent more often and while it may seem nice to have a lot in the closet to choose from, you really only choose what you like.You will save money too, because you won't buy the dresses you do not wear. Sure your collection my be smaller, but quanity is not quality. You know that now.So with this easy to follow technique, you can feel wonderful and beautifulall the time inyour dress. Make it so.
