The past few years has seen an ongoing climb in the volume of internet traffic concentrated on just a single day of the year for online shopping. In the 2010 Christmas shopping season, we expect it to be even stronger as there are two major factors this year: 1) There are more retailers are pushing their online strategy and also using social media to get more users and 2) The websites that promote products and discount price information on cheap electricals,cheap laptops and voucher codes like HomeApplianceOffers.co.uk are set to see a bumper increase in consumers hunting down the best deal. What a lot of consumers are starting to realise is that the main retailers do not always put the best deal on their own sites - instead preferring to get extra traffic by letting affiliate sites offer goods at just a few % less than the deals on the main site.
