The Chronicles of Narnia Movie (2010) Online Free Megavideo

Five new movie posters have been released for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which opens on December 10th, 2010.

This time around Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their pesky cousin Eustace Scrubb find themselves swallowed into a painting and on to a fantastic Narnian ship headed for the very edges of the world. Joining forces once again with their royal friend Prince Caspian and the warrior mouse Reepicheep, they are whisked away on a mysterious mission to the Lone Islands, and beyond.

On this bewitching voyage that will test their hearts and spirits, the trio will face magical Dufflepuds, sinister slave traders, roaring dragons and enchanted merfolk. Only an entirely uncharted journey to Aslan's Country a voyage of destiny and transformation for each of those aboard the Dawn Treader can save Narnia, and all the astonishing creatures in it, from an unfathomable fate.

Michael Apted made a statement which is sure to prove controversial amongst Narnia fans. He says:

"I would be surprised if they did all seven books. I suppose the fourth one might work better now after the changes we made in the third but after that it goes haywire.

"With a franchise, the continuity of characters is actually quite crucial and I don't know how they are going get beyond book four. I think it is a problem."

On one hand, I understand where he's coming from. Unlike Harry Potter, Twilight, Lord of the Rings, and essentially every other popular book series out there except Narnia, there is a common set of characters that is carried throughout the whole story. That doesn't happen with Narnia. In every book, there are different characters. Even from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to The Silver Chair, while a few main characters carry over, almost all of the secondary characters are new.

The Pevensie siblings join Prince Caspian once again in his adventures in Narnia, the fantasy land where Aslan roars and Reepicheep rat talks. But this time, Lucy and Edmund are joined by their cousin Eustace who begins as a reluctant voyager on the mystical ship, the Dawn Treader, but ends up a true hero in an adventure which sees them battling sea serpents, evil creatures and the wicked White Witch (Tilda Swinton).
