The Costume Zentai Fitted Me Perfectly Again

. In the back of my mind I hoped one day I might use it again." Stephanie's costume zentai had its SECOND outing the following year in May 1984, for the christening of her son Freddie. She says: "It was going to be a special occasion and when I looked in the wardrobe my zentai stared back. I had to wear it again." Towards the end of her pregnancy Stephanie, who's 5ft 5in tall, had gone up to 10st 4lb. But by the time Freddie was christened at the age of three months, she was back to her normal weight of 7st 10lb. "The costume zentai fitted me perfectly again and it seemed so right - our wedding costume zentai day had marked the start of our family life, now we were welcoming our son," says Stephanie. "I took the original white belt off and tied a pale blue sash around the waist. I also wore a silver locket, which had photos of Dan and Freddie inside. I felt fantastic. Once again, Stephanie washed and ironed the costume zentai, then hung it back up in the wardrobe. But just five months later, in September 1984, Stephanie dug the costume zentai out for a THIRD outing. "My brother Alistair's Danish girlfriend Mette had entered a beauty competition but she didn't have anything to wear," says Stephanie.
