The term "Digitize" is used everyday however it seems not easy to definite exactly what it is

. We are familiar with many digital devices as: computer, camera, Telivision,radio. To clarify some information about this term. Digitize means the data of conversion from analog to digital form. When we take a picture from our camera we want to put this picture into computer we have to digitize all analog to digital converter to convert the analog signal to a digital stream odd our data. So our computer can read this picture because computer is a digital device.

First of all, each digital data file is created by taking samples of analog with the rate of several thousand per second. So when we see films on television, we can"t see the move of action not being interrupted. Or nearly all record music has been digitized; therefore, the sound of music is smoothly because of analog signals which are continuous and converted from analog to digital form.

Analog signals are continuously variable, both in the number of possible values of the signal at a given time, as well as in the number of points in the signal in a given period of time. However, digital signals are discrete in both of those respects "" generally a finite sequence of integers "" therefore a digitization can, in practical terms, only ever be an approximation of the signal it represents.

Secondly, it will be easy to handle of analog signal when it is digitized and the signal is digitized before modulation and transmission. As known that, the conversion process of analog to digital consists of two processes: sampling and quantizing. As long as sampling rate is used, so that our ears and eyes perceive digitized audio or videos as steady stream or analog data. . Digital data can be edited by computers and can be endlessly copied with no loss of quality; most of today audio and video media are created in a digital format.

Thirdly, Digitize or digitization is also used to describe the process of populating databases with files or data. But when it is used in technique the usage is often inaccurate. because it originates with the previously proper use of the term to describe that part of the process involving digitization of analog sources, such as printed pictures and brochures, before uploading to target databases.

Digitize is a term which is popular recently and applied in our life so much. We really enjoy with many digital devices. In conclusion, all devices from "digitize "are very useful for human being. we cant live without digital devices. It gives us so many benefits which we can"t deny.
