The Different Grades For Used Golf Balls
Used golf balls are in vogue these days
Used golf balls are in vogue these days. Instead of buying brand new ones, people are buying branded used golf balls like the Titleist used golf balls as well as a lot of other options from many other brands. However, a lot of people do not know about the different grades for the used golf balls. A lot of people just buy these balls just because they are Titleist used golf balls or are from some other big brand.
For such people here is a look at the different grades and what they mean:
The Quadruble A grade:The used golf balls that come under this grade are very close to the state of the new balls. Sometimes, they might have some small pen markings and they may be a little closer to a perfect condition. They are high in quality and are almost without any flaws. The shine and color of such balls is usually consistent.
The Triple A grade:These used golf balls usually have some small scuffs and imperfections, but there are no cuts. They might be somewhat tanned but are as good as the MINT balls, in terms of quality. There color might be a little off, however. They are good for performance but are not really good to look at. The marks on their surface marks do not after their trajectory or distance in any way.
The Double A grade:The used golf balls that come under this grade are very much playable. They are really good for the beginners. These balls are the most suitable for the dreaded water hazards. These balls usually have some minor imperfections and the color might be a little off. In spite of some flaws these used gold balls are very much playable. The balls are most suitable for the green practices. The used golf balls are very similar to the balls that are played for 18 holes.
The Single A grade:These used golf balls are the most popular ones. They are preferred by the players who are looking for personal practice. These balls have a damaged color, club marks and scuffing, without any cuts. The surface is moderately blemished. They look similar to the balls that have gone through 9 or more holes. Still their trajectory, flight and distance are not affected at all.
The B grade:These used golf balls sport some cuts and heavily blemished surface. They are mostly meant for target practice.
