Mostly in wooden furniture, cedar, teak, cypress are among the woods used in constructing the furniture for outdoor use. These woods are known for there durability and resistance to weather. Furniture made of hardwood offers long lasting warranty of comfort and enjoyment.

However, other materials like the resin-plastic also guarantee durability. Resin furniture is often mistaken as wood furniture since it looks like wood at the first look. This type of furniture is maintenance-free and easy to clean using only soap and water. It comes in different colors that do not easily fade even exposed to too much sunlight and rain. However, it is recommended that the furniture must be kept inside during extreme weather like snow.

Furniture made of wrought-iron is also sturdy. Today's wrought-iron material is secured to not easily get rust. However, it would require you to once or twice a year that you re-apply paint to the furniture to make sure it won't rust easily.

When choosing for the outdoor furniture, the first thing to consider would be the type of material used. Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each material and decide very well what to choose. It would be a good idea to spend time searching and examining each piece to assure yourself that the outdoor furniture you purchased will serve its function for a long time.
