In this variant, the hammocks are made out of a length of twice that is much longer then the length of the hammocks and then the extra amounts of twine on both ends are rolled up to form a thick rope which is to be tied to the posts. These beds are very popular among those who love camping because of its light weight and portability. They are also popular in ships because of the low amount of space they occupy when they are not being used. Though general hammocks are not too brightly colored, the models that are made for used inside the house are quite colorful and enhance the beauty of the room they are used in.
