The Dordogne river runs for over 200kms from its source to Bordeaux on the Atlantic coast.

The navigable part of the river begins at Argentat in the heart of the Correze and gently meanders through some of the most fantastic scenery in France, add to this the fact that the Dordogne Valley has traditionally been known as the gastronomic heart' of France - and you can understand why people return to the area year after year.

The #mce_temp_url# is a family run business that offers unique rafting holidays that are not excessively priced, or focused solely on the busiest stretches of river.Your holiday starts at Argentat and finishes wherever you want it to! We collect you from your final destination and bring you back to your car, or the closest railway station if you are travelling by train.

You can start your holiday on any day from the beginning of June to the end of September, and pricing couldn't be simpler (129 per person for the one week trip, and 199 for two weeks. For those who prefer not to camp a hotel option is now available for 649)

We provide : a 3-metre inflatable boat and a 2-man tent for every 2 persons, foam sleeping-mats (or bring your own airbeds if you prefer them), small stoves with pans and gas, a pump, a lock and chain, paddles and oars, buoyancy aids, 2 waterproof sacks, a river map, and lots of information. Plus, of course, full briefing on what to do, how to do it, and the best places to go.

Our walking and cycling holidays are located in southwest France and east of the lush vineyards of Bordeaux. The Dordogne valley offers walking and cycling enthusiasts a menu of rustic charm, dramatic landscapes, inspired cuisine and a lack of tourist crowds. Travellers from throughout France and the rest of the European Union, even from as far as Australia, often come to the region for the slow pace of life, the sheer beauty, that inhabits the landscapes and of course the cuisine.
