The Fastest And Most Straightforward Way To Learn The Japanese Language!
Welcome to an entirely unique language
Welcome to an entirely unique language. Japanese is the official language of Japan, best known as "Nihongo" in the Japanese native language. If you didn't know the unique Japanese script is actually adopted from the Chinese language. The Chinese script was tweaked and three very different scripts of Japanese were developed.
This powerful language is written by merging three main scripts whose names are Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. Some time ago, Japanese was written vertically. That's right up and down; when you are not use to writing this way you simply just can't understand it. Moreover, it was written from right to left and would start from the very last page to the first page. Luckily this technique of writing has changed through the years.
Hiragana is regarded as the basic scripts to date. It is actually used to write words, which cannot be written in kanji. In addition, kanji cannot be converted into the different tenses. Katakana is utilized for foreign names and words. Kanji is the pictorial script, which was primarily obtained from China. From kanji were made hiragana and katakana.
The other two forms of Japanese language are as followed. One is the Hyoujungo, which implies 'standard Japanese', and the other is called the kyoutsugo, which means 'common language'. The Hyoujungo form is widely used in the media, while teaching in schools and during official communication. Many of us know that there's a difference between casual talking and formal talking.
Japanese offers three main dialects, the Tokyo dialect, the Osaka dialect, and the Kyushyu dialect. There are numerous differences between the different dialects. Very few people use Kyushyu and Osaka dialect. The Tokyo dialect is the one which you should focus on the most, because it is the one that is used the most.
Japanese grammar is quite simple to understand if you take the time to master the basics. It however is very different from that of English grammar. In Japanese grammar, the sentence should end with a verb.
Japanese Symbols, Characters, Calligraphy are all common terms for Kanji. Kanji are the symbols which are used to express ideas, versus just sounds. While it's true understanding pronunciation and speaking basic Japanese is usually an easy task, learning to read and write Japanese is a little more difficult.
