The Fringe Of The Fringe: Scottish Cottages To Enjoy The Festival Without The Crowds

The Edinburgh Festival is renowned throughout the world as the place to be in August and the

Edinburgh Fringe has now established itself as one of the greatest comedy festivals. But

beyond both of these contrasting cultural experiences there are many other events around

Edinburgh which do not involve quite the same throng but still offer the chance to see some

Take the Pittenweem Arts Festival that is held in this pretty fishing village of winding streets. The

festival uses this back drop to showcase drawings, millinery along with over a 100 artists

Nearby Arncroach is a peaceful place within easy reach of Pittenweem, sandy beaches and
