The internet is an integral part of our daily lives. We are a virtual society. We share our interests and passions, memories and stories, entertainment and art, all on the internet. Downloading music, our favorite Youtube video, or photos of our vacation to our Facebook page, has become as natural as getting up and brushing our teeth in the morning. We want our experience on the internet be a fast, reliable and easy way to connect with the world around us. Connection difficulties, long uploads and inconsistent service is simply unacceptable these days. Cable and DSL have become dinosaurs from a technologically prehistoric time. Today, the only way to stay current is with satellite internet.

Satellite Internet broadband connection allows you to have access wherever you are. Unlike Cable and DSL it isn't limited to your local area. You can surf the web, video message with your friends, twitter your latest life update, or simply check your hotmail address from any location. DSL requires you to hook your computer up to a modem, but satellite lets you roam free. In today's world, we are always on the go. Being tethered to one central location just doesn't work. You can end up missing valuable information that you need at a moment's notice without a constant connection. In order to keep your competitive edge professionally you have to be able to have access wherever you go.

Also, DSL is simply slower and its service is inconsistent. You shouldn't have to wait an hour to upload a ten minute video and your skype call shouldn't be constantly interrupted because you've temporarily lost internet. We all want fast connection and we need it to be reliable. That isn't a guarantee with DSL. With satellite, however, these kinds of problems simply don't come to mind. Our wants and needs are met time and again. There's no need to worry about whether you'll be able to download those attachments in time for the big meeting or if you and your loved ones can chat on your birthday while you're away. We can live our technological lives freely.

Some people may think that cable and DSL are more economical options but that just isn't the case. If anything, one has more options when choosing satellite internet. Often times, there are only a handful of local cable providers who offer internet. It's difficult to shop competitively in such a small market. Prices are also linked to your television service, which together, can be very costly. Satellite, however, offers the consumer the opportunity to shop around and find a price that works with their budget. In the end, allowing them to save money on a better product.

So, when you think about it there is really nothing to think about. Cable and DSL really don't stack up when compared to all that satellite internet has to offer. It's time to leave those relics of the past behind and step into the future. It's faster, it's reliable, and best of all, it's affordable.
