Certainly the computer world is a broad term and it can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people because you have products ranging from mp three players to advanced components like the GE PLC or IC660EBA025 series. These are the types of things that you need to be on top of if you really want to be on top of the tech world. Because the tech world is so broad you really need to take into consideration many different aspects to fully appreciate and understand exactly what's going on in technology at any given time. Just because a new piece of technology has come out in one field does not mean that there's going to be in advancement in another however. If for instance a new and advanced television comes out this does not necessarily translate into better computer controlled robots for building cars.
