However forming a sequence where Ace serves as both the first card and the last card will not work out. That is - King, Ace and 2 would not be an acceptable sequence.
Apart from 13 cards of each suite, there is a printed joker. Jokers are also known as wild cards. These are supposed to fill in the blank as required, to complete a set or sequence. Apart from the printed joker, one more card is pulled from the deck randomly at the start of a game, to function as a joker. These cards will perform as joker. For example: If King of spades is picked as a joker, then King cards of all 4 suites (hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs) will be used as a joker. The exception to this rule comes in when the printed joker is pulled in a particular round or game. In such circumstances, Ace of all four suites will be deemed as joker for that game.
Sequence "" Sequences are an essential part of rummy. These are basically a group of cards, consisting of three cards and above in logical order of the same symbol. For example: 8, 9 and 10 of hearts would be considered an acceptable sequence. In a typical game of Indian Rummy Online, at least two sequences are mandatory for a winning hand. Out of these two sequences, one has to be pure "" that is formed without a joker.
Set - Sets are also an important ingredient in forming a winning hand in 13 cards rummy. A set is basically a group of three/four cards of the same number/picture from different suites. For example "" a 10 of hearts, a 10 of spades and ten of diamonds would be considered a valid set. However a set will be counted as valid only once the two mandatory sequences are formed.
