The Making Of The First Electric Guitar
Electric guitars were actually introduced to the public in the 1930's, as it sort of became a necessity for jazz musicians since they all needed to amplify their music. It became so popular, that everyone began using it in their music. It gave birth to what we now call Rock and Roll, and country musicians began using it as well. Electric guitars really served as one of the most major components during the development of Rock n Roll and also a variety of other music genres. There was actually other experiments when it came to creating electric guitars before the 1930's, but it wasn't until the 30's when it was presented to the public.
What Kind Of Sound Does It Have?
On average it is normal for an electric guitar to have three magnetic pick ups. What it does is it turns the vibrations coming out of metal strings when you strum them, into electric audio signals. It's called electromagnetic induction. If you are a beginner you will be happy to know that they are extremely easy to learn on. You don't have to press the strings as hard so your fingertips won't be in too much pain. An electric guitar will not sound very good if played by itself. It is very low and you can barely hear a sound. If you want to sound nice, you will need to get a good electric guitar and a good amplifier.
How Popular Are Electric Guitars Now?
Electric guitars are not just popular today, but they are more popular today than they ever were. You can't watch a music band and not spot an electric guitar.
