The Germans vote Hyundai as best quality car manufacturer

When you think of a quality you're most likely to think of a German marque such as BMW, Audi or Mercedes but in Germany they think that Hyundai make the best quality vehicles at the moment. The German motoring magazine AutoBild has awarded Hyundai with the top place in their 2010 quality report.

The AutoBild report judged manufacturers on reliability, long term quality and customer satisfaction, it's no surprise then that this year Hyundai out performed one of its main rivals - Toyota. What is surprising though is that it beat the best German brands too.

AutoBild's report evaluates seven key criteria, each given equal importance, including feedback received from 9278 owners, manufacturer warranty provisioning, recall information, and data from Germany's Technische Uberwachung Verein report (TUV) based on 7.5 million vehicle inspections.

Hyundai has been working tirelessly in recent years to improve the quality of its products, service and customer support. Hyundai is worthy a winner of one the most respected industry quality surveys which is endorsed by a fastidious German audience.

It's not just the Germans though that rate Hyundai highly, here in the UK the new Hyundai i30 was awarded first place in the Driver Power Top 100 survey, again fighting off bigger brands such as Honda, Jaguar and Mercedes. The Driver Power survey is carried out by Auto Express which is AutoBild's sister magazine.

These latest reports and awards have meant that Hyundai used cars in Sussex are very competitively priced, people tend to have the mentality that a used Hyundai will be "cheap". This is not the case as current owners are reluctant to let go of their stress free car, hence there is more demand than supply at the moment causing a slight inflation in prices.
