Fresh Produce wasn't officially born until 1986 when Thom and Mary Ellen were in La Jolla, California. Shortly after its creation, Mary Ellen's sister Jennifer Haney joined their group, making it truly a family business dedicated to creating family clothes.

By 1988, Fresh Produce clothing was already being sold in Nordstrom's stores, and took off from there. Thom and Mary Ellen relocated from their home in Long Beach, California, to the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Colorado. They created, and still create, the best in casual, resort and sportswear.

Now Fresh Produce is more popular than ever! It is $50 million company and their product lines are sold in Nordstrom's and in Walt Disney resorts and stores, as well as in over 800 specialty boutiques in North America.
