The phones built-in accelerometer enables use it in landscape mode where an on-screen QWERTY keyboard delivers a responsive typing experience. The Desire provides ample support for simple services like SMS and MMS, and the more advanced Exchange mail and personal e-mail too. The handset lets you manage various e-mail accounts with Hotmail and Gmail compatible among other popular providers. IM has also been covered by HTC with support for all the popular providers including WindowsLive and Google Chat.

With this great device you can enjoy the benefits of a 5 mega pixel camera and an FM radio, the music player does a great job of organizing your tunes and the video player will playback just about anything. The phone has been equipped with loads of Google apps thanks to the Android software; Google Maps helps with navigation along with the built-in A-GPS and intelligent HTC Footprints. YouTube is another Google supplement which lets you view and upload video content.

HTC could have found there form with there recent releases of the Legend, Desire and HD Mini.
